Founded in 2011 by the accomplished sole practitioner Thushara Collins, T.G. Collins Solicitors stands as a reputable legal firm in Essex. Specialising in family law encompassing Divorce, Financial Settlements, Children’s matters, Separation, and Domestic Violence cases, we also excel in Residential and Commercial conveyancing, Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney, and Probate services.

Our steadfast commitment to excellence and client-centric approach have fueled remarkable growth, leading to the opening of our second office in Chelmsford, Essex in 2020. This expansion reflects our unwavering dedication to providing accessible, top-tier legal assistance to our clients, ensuring their needs are met comprehensively and their rights protected.

We have been a training practice since 2015 and we offer work experience to local students aged 15 to 17 as well as summer internships to University students.

We provide pro bono family law advice in partnership with Queen Mary (University of London) Legal Advice Centre. QMLAC is recognised internationally for the impact its work has within communities and upon future lawyers.

In 2020, T.G. Collins Solicitors was awarded the Mayors Award (Business of the Year Award) by the Castle Point Borough Council, as a recognition of the growth and development of the business in its 10th anniversary.

In 2022 Thushara was nominated for the Civil Lawyer of the Year Award for the Society of Asian Lawyers recognising the efforts of the whole team who have contributed to the continued growth and success of the business and a personal achievement for the founder.

Amrinder (Mindi) joined T.G. Collins Solicitors in February 2017 . Mindi is responsible for driving T.G. Collins growth and development and it is due to his vision that T.G. Collins opened our second office in Chelmsford Essex in 2020. Mindi assesses the performance of the firm against the business goals and objectives and works closely with the firm’s accountants. Mindi ensures that the firm has adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities.

  Did a quick Google search after getting their quote back for Conveyancing which was the cheapest. Saw lots of 5star reviews and can see why.
