Paralegal

Aryan Soni

I joined T.G. Collins Solicitors in August 2025 and currently work as a Paralegal within the firmu2019s Private Client department. I began my journey with the firm as a Legal Assistant and, following a period of rapid development and strong performance, was promoted to Paralegal on 1 December 2025.

Although I do not come from a traditional academic legal background, I have developed my legal knowledge and practical expertise through hands-on experience in a busy and demanding legal environment. This has allowed me to build a strong, working understanding of private client law, supported by day-to-day involvement in live matters and close collaboration with fee earners across the department.

My role covers a wide range of private client work, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Letters of Administration. I am regularly involved in drafting legal documents, preparing and managing files, liaising with clients and third parties, and supporting the progression of matters from initial instruction through to completion. Working across such a broad spectrum of private client matters has given me a well-rounded and practical understanding of the issues faced by clients at often sensitive and important stages of their lives.

I take pride in providing a high standard of client care, ensuring that matters are handled with accuracy, efficiency and empathy. Having learned my skills directly within practice, I bring a proactive and solutions-focused approach to my work, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to supporting both clients and colleagues effectively.

Looking ahead, I am keen to continue developing my legal career with the firm. I intend to pursue a masteru2019s in law followed by the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), with the aim of qualifying as a solicitor in the future. I have a particular interest in contentious probate and hope to build my expertise in this area as my career progresses.
