Thushara Collins, founded T G Collins Solicitors in May 2011. Thushara was born in Sri Lanka and raised in Thurrock, Essex. Thushara graduated with a masters degree and had a successful career in primary health care management before embarking on a career in law, studying whilst having a young family, and qualifying in 2007. Thushara was a Partner in a larger firm since 2007 and has been a family solicitor for over 16 years. Thushara is the only Sri Lankan, female, sole practitioner in southeast Essex.

Thushara has maintained strong links with Appleton School (Benfleet) where she had been a school Governor, to support local students in their pursuit of a legal career, taking work experience students each summer and supporting the students in careers days and interview skills. Similarly in the Chelmsford office we offer work placement students from King Edward VI Grammar School, Chelmsford.

Thushara has a well-established reputation having worked in numerous high net worth cases representing clients successfully against well established larger city firms.

Thushara enjoys spending time with her family and Herbie the pet sausage dog (and Head of Security at T G Collins).
